The truth is: my throat was blocked and this wasn’t even possible 7 months ago.

I’m a fourth-generation singer and I’ve been singing since I was four.

But performance, the hunger for validation, shame, and fear distorted my resonance.

My voice didn’t disappear, it went into hiding.

Through sound healing and somatic work, I found my way home.

Yes, therapy, parts work, EMDR, and IFS mattered, but I’d been doing those for years. Sound and somatics were the key that unlocked the door to my frequency.

Sound taught my body what safety feels like.
It helped me open my throat, dissolve armor, and feel without needing to analyze or explain.
Feeling without overthinking was once foreign to me but now it’s my language.

Plant medicine has also been a powerful ally in this remembering, and I’m deeply grateful for the tools, support, and love surrounding me.
